Viewing Billing History
All purchases and subscription charges are recorded in your billing history:
- Go to the Billing page from the main navigation.
- Scroll to the Billing History section.
- Each entry shows the date, description, amount, and payment status.
Entries include receipt pack purchases, storage add-ons, team member add-ons, organization add-ons, and any recurring renewal charges.
Click Filters to narrow a long history down -- by organization (if you manage more than one), a start and end date, or transaction type (add-on purchase, subscription, refund, credit). Filters combine and the list is paginated, so large histories stay easy to scan.
Click any row to expand it and see an itemized breakdown of that charge -- the subtotal, tax (e.g. HST for Canadian organizations), and total.
Downloading Invoices
Each billing entry has a downloadable invoice PDF:
- Find the charge in your billing history.
- Click the PDF button to download the invoice as originally issued.
Invoices include your organization's billing details, the charge description, amount, payment method (last 4 digits of card), and date.
If you later correct your organization's billing name or address, the original invoice PDF still reflects the old details. Click Regenerate next to a transaction to produce a fresh invoice PDF using your current billing profile instead.
Stripe Customer Portal
For detailed payment management, click Manage Billing on the Billing page. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:
- View all past invoices and receipts.
- Update your payment method (credit card).
- Cancel or modify recurring add-ons.
- Download itemized invoices for accounting.
Tax Information
Invoices show the amount charged in your local currency. If applicable, tax details (e.g., GST/HST for Canadian organizations) are included on the Stripe invoice.
For your own organization's tax reporting, the invoices from TaxReceipt.app represent a business expense for software services.
Tips
- Download invoices promptly for your accounting records.
- Use the Stripe Customer Portal to update an expiring credit card before renewal dates.
- Check billing history after each purchase to confirm the charge was processed correctly.
